Anıtkabir/ The Mausoleum of Atatürk: Anıtkabir is the mausoleum of Mustafa Kemal Atatürk, the leader of the Turkish War of Independence, the founder and first President of the Republic of Turkey. It is located in Anıttepe, Ankara.

Ankara Kalesi / Ankara Castle: The Ankara Castle is one of Ankara’s oldest sights. It dates all the way back to the Roman, Seljuk, and Ottoman Empires. The Ankara Castle has become a very popular destination for visitors as well as locals.

Anadolu Medeniyetleri Müzesi / The Museum of Anatolian Civilizations: The Museum of Anatolian Civilizations is located on the south side of Ankara Castle in the Atpazarı area in Ankara, Turkey. This museum is a great way to learn about Turkey’s ancient past and see historically important monuments.

Rahmi Koç Müzesi / Rahmi Koç Museum: Rahmi M. Koç Museum is Ankara’s first museum about industry and engineering. It opened in 2005.
